Admission to The Montessori Academy of Farmington Hills
Admissions Policy
The admissions policies of the Montessori Academies of Michigan are based on the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We welcome all students and families and practice a policy of nondiscrimination. We strive to serve a broad, diverse range of racial, socioeconomic, religious, cultural, and ability groups. We are committed to serving families and educating the children of the State of Michigan.
We welcome applications from a wide variety of students. It is the policy of our schools to accept all children regardless of race, color, creed, gender, national and ethnic origin, or disability. Recognizing that each child develops in a unique way, we also recognize our limitations in meeting some highly complex or specialized learning needs. Students who have special needs that fall within our ability to address may be accepted on a provisional basis.
All students are given prompt attention and openings are filled as they become available. If a place is not immediately available, you may request to be put on a waiting list.
Enrollment Process
We have a rolling admissions policy and accept applications for admission throughout the year. Please contact our school to obtain an Information Packet and Registration Package, and to set up an appointment to visit the campus. During your appointment you will meet with the director of the school and will be able to ask any questions that you may have. After a thorough explanation of our programs, curriculum, and philosophy, we will take a tour of campus facilities, individual classrooms, and our playground. Classroom observation is encouraged and we welcome your child to accompany you on your visit.
Application for Admission and Admissions Process
An official Application for Admission Form and Registration Package will be provided upon visiting our campus.
